Some Facts The News Never Tells You

If you watch the news, or talk to people sympathetic towards illegal aliens, you invariably hear heart tugging stories about how these poor people only want to find a better life. You hear how our immigration raids are tearing families apart. Unfortunately, you only hear a part of the story, the part those who support immigration rights want you to hear. What you don't hear, is what I am about to tell you.

Did you know, that on the average, in the United States, 12 Americans are killed by illegal aliens every single day? That is 4380 Americans killed annually by people who should not even be in this country. That is more Americans killed by illegal aliens than the total number of U.S. soldiers killed since President Bush invaded Iraq.

Did you know, that in Los Angeles, 95% of all outstanding warrants for homicide, (which total between 1,200-1,500), are for illegal aliens? Did you know that out of 17,000 fugitive felony warrants, two-thirds of them are for illegal aliens.

A California Department of Justice study reported that in 1995 sixty percent of the Los Angeles 18th Street Gang, whose membership is estimated to be around 20,000, was comprised of illegal aliens.

Did you know that in 1980, our federal and state prisons housed fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. By the end of 1999, these same prisons housed over 68,000 criminal aliens.

Incarceration of criminal aliens costs an estimated $624 million to state prisons (1999) and $891 million to federal prisons (2002), according to the most recent available figure from the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Are you aware that over the past five years, an average of more than 72,000 illegal aliens have been arrested annually on drug charges alone.

Those are just statistics pulled out of reports. Even I will agree that statistics can easily be presented in a manner that allows you to favor either side of a discussion.

Well, let me tell you some names. These are not mere statistics, these are lives that have been directly affected by the actions of illegal aliens.

Does the name Reynaldo Elias Rapalo sound familiar. No? At one time, Miami police had Mr. Rapalo in custody for lewd and lascivious molestation. He was released without checking his immigration status. The next year Rapalo was again arrested, this time for a string of seven serial rapes. Had the Miami police checked his immigration status, they would have found he had overstayed his visa and should have been deported. Their reason for not checking? Detective Delrish Moss states, choosing his words carefully, "because of our large immigration population."

You say that is an isolated case, that these illegal aliens are not the criminals I make them out to be. Then perhaps you could explain to me the following.

Terrance Aeriel, 18, Dashon Harvey, 20; and Iofemi Hightower, 20-allegedly gun down, execution style by illegal alien Jose Carranza

Dani Countryman, 15 yrs-Allegedly raped and murdered by illegal aliens Alejandro Emeterio "Alex" Rivera Gamboa, and Gilberto Javier Arellano-Gamboa

David March, L.A. County Sheriff-shot twice in the head by illegal alien Armando Garcia who had previously been deported twice. Garcia fled to Mexico, where Mexican authorities refuse to honor extradition request.

Tricia Taylor, 18 yrs old, Detroit Michigan- was smashed into a wall, causing her to lose both legs above the knees by illegal alien Jose Carcamo. Carcamo was driving under the influence .08 and doing between 50 and 75 mph in a 25 mph zone. Carcamo has had 17 violations since 1995. INS had twice begun deportation proceedings against Carcamo, but never followed through.

Jose Soto, 6 yrs old- Run over by illegal alien Jose Ines Morales. Morales pulled the child from under his truck and threw him aside like a piece of garbage and sped off.

Sister Helen Chaska-Raped and then strangled by her rosary beads by illegal alien Maximiliano Esparza. Esparza was convicted in 1988 of robbery and kidnapping in L.A. He served 6 years in prison for that crime and instead of being deported, he was released into society.

Randy Burris-Run over and killed while saving the lives of a young mother and her baby. The driver of the out of control vehicle was illegal alien Ricardo Arriaga-Gutierrez, whose blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit hours after his arrest.

Felix Leon, 5 yrs old-Ran over and killed while riding his bike by illegal aliens Carlos Jaramillo and Domingo Acosta Lopez, both men had previously been deported.

Vinessa Hora, 23-Raped and murdered by illegal alien Faustino Chavez because she rejected his romantic advances.

Troy Payton-Stabbed to death with a butcher knife by illegal alien Abimael Azmitia. Azmitia had been deported only one month prior, had a prior arrest record for domestic violence in Colorado, yet the Judge still only sentenced him to 19-48 months.

James and Emilia Lee, married just six months-Killed by a truckload of 17 illegal aliens doing 90 mph who were attempting to evade pursing police.

Robert Bryant-Killed on the job while clocking speeders in a Denver school walk zone by illegal alien Javier Cruz-Caballero. Caballero was seen revving his engine and taking aim straight at officer Bryant.

I could go on and on and on, I have a seemingly endless list of names belonging to people who have had their liver forever shattered or taken from them, and the names of the illegal aliens who were responsible.

So, the next time you watch the news and you hear some sad story about a family being torn apart by Immigration raids, you just remember Tricia Taylor who is confined to a wheel chair for the rest of her life because some illegal alien got drunk and rammed his car into her legs at over 50 mph. Or you remember Sister Helen Chaska who was raped and strangled so severely that they had to pry her rosary beads out of her neck.

I am not saying every illegal alien in this country is going to rape, kill, or commit some other horrible crime, but unfortunately you usually cannot tell until it is too late. As the number of illegal aliens in this country increases, the odds of you becoming a victim of a crime committed by one of them increase as well.

I am only one voice. I am screaming as loud as I can, saying that something must be done to stop the flow of illegal aliens into this country, this includes those who overstay their visas, not just those who cross our borders illegally.

Now that you have heard the side of the story the media refuses to tell you, you have no excuse not to add your voice to my cause as well. If we get enough voices they will hear us in Washington D.C. and maybe, just maybe they will do something about it. But for now, my throat sure hurts from screaming all by myself.
